MACAE presentation

Robin and I had a good time presenting at the MACAE Annual Conference on Friday, Nov. 9. We demonstrated a few of our favorite Web 2.0 technologies and talked about how they are applicable to adult learners. COTF XIII

I attending the Classrooms of the Future: Teaching, Learning and Technology: In That Order yesterday at Hamline University in St. Paul. Steven Gilber (founder of Teaching, Learning and Technology TLT Group) was the keynote speaker. He had us brainstorm how to use cellphone/mobile devices in the classroom. He also encourage us to try 10 minutes of technology--won't seem daunting and if it fails you have only lost 10 minutes.

Return from LOEX conference

Just got back from the LOEX 2007 conference. The theme was "Uncharted waters: Tapping the Depths of Our Community to Enhance Learning." It was a great conference focused on library instruction and information literacy. And being right on the ocean didn't hurt either.
